Meltdown in Malibu
A brand new musical play from Crediton Youth Theatre set in 1960s California. Arthur Frost decides to move the family ice cream business from Brighton to Malibu Beach in search of the American dream. But when they get there, the charms of the palm trees and blue skies soon give way to tensions with the locals, as Sunny's Sundaes are none too pleased with the competition. Meanwhile their teenage children are trying to navigate the cliques and hierarchies of high school, against a backdrop of dramatic social change and conflicts that stretch far beyond their own 'Cold War'.
