Come with me as we hop across to the other side of the Andes, to discover the best of Argentina on a wine tasting trip around high altitude Mendoza. In this second tasting evening focussing on the wines of South America I'll help you understand why Argentina is so very different from Chile - in terms of wine history, grape varieties and wine styles.The lovely tasting line up of 6, plus an extra ‘Bonus Taster’ bottle, will include top quality wines encompassing the important indigenous varieties and some surprising ones too. Interesting, modern, premium expressions from renowned, long-standing, multi-award winning producers. You know not to expect any less by now! And all very suited to the warming springtime weather and the foods we'll be thinking about cooking and eating too.
Although this will be a really interesting comparison to our March tasting on Chile, it really doesn't matter if you weren't able to come to that one. Just join us to enjoy this focus on Argentina!
WSET-qualified and fully immersed in the wonderful world of wine, my style is very friendly and approachable. As a stand-alone tasting, no previous attendance or wine knowledge is needed. All questions are welcomed! They're always fun, sociable and interactive evenings, so come along on your own or bring a friend. Do book your seats early to avoid disappointment.
