We warmly invite you to our next Salesian STEM Lecture Evening, held in memory of alumnus Dr Andy Mitchell. This lecture is suitable for all students in Years 9–13, and we would be delighted to welcome parents as well.This time, we are pleased to introduce two new and exciting speakers:
Dr Patrick Fagan, who will be discussing how technology is shaping our psychology. Dr Fagan is a behavioural scientist, Sunday Times best-selling author, and university lecturer with more than 15 years of experience studying how humans make decisions, how digital platforms influence behaviour, and how psychology intersects with technology. Formerly the lead psychologist at Cambridge Analytica, he has published academic research on topics such as Facebook psychology, dark nudges, and targeted advertising, and has consulted for major brands including TikTok, Subway, and Sony Music.
Neale Matulewicz-Boyle, currently an officer with Border Force, will be exploring how chemistry is used to detect and identify drugs.
