The Making Room is a warm and inclusive workshop space where people gather to learn, create and connect through making.Join us for our first sewing workshop, led by founder and textile designer Hannah Lewis. In this relaxed, small-group session, you'll learn how to make your own beautifully finished tote bag using a sewing machine.
The workshop will take place at Moth Coffi - a gentle, cosy setting perfect for slowing down and creating, with warm drinks in hand.
This is a small class to ensure plenty of guidance and support. Whether you're new to sewing or looking to build confidence, you'll leave with new skills and a handmade tote to take home.
Included:
- Thoughtfully selected fabric, pre-cut from a pattern and ready to sew
- Sewing tools e.g thread, pins, scissors
- Access to an iron for pressing and finishing
- Step-by-step expert guidance throughout the workshop
- A relaxed, small-group setting with plenty of support
- x4 tickets include the use of a sewing machine.
- x4 additional spaces are available for those bringing their own sewing machine.
We'll be stitching while Moth Coffi will be open for coffee, tea and delicious cakes, making it the perfect cosy creative evening.
