Wang Bang Willy Wagon is a dark satirical drama about a volunteer-run immersive theatre company that calls itself a community, but operates like a cult.When Arjun, an ambitious young director obsessed with being taken seriously joins the company, he thinks he’s found his big break. Instead, he finds a machine, powered by unpaid labour, class guilt, and the intoxicating promise of finally belonging.
Led by charismatic founders who preach radical politics, Wang Bang Willy Wagon weaponises purpose. It feeds on volunteers hungry for validation. It knows exactly how to make exploitation feel like opportunity.
Arjun sees the red flags. He stays anyway.
