Join us for an unforgettable adventure across the breathtaking sands of Morecambe Bay.The Cross Bay Walk from Arnside to Grange-over-Sands is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. Guided safely across the bay, we’ll walk miles of open sands, take in incredible views, and even wade through the beautiful River Kent along the way.
It’s an amazing day out filled with fresh air, laughter, and the magic of walking where the sea usually lies. Whether you're coming for the challenge, the scenery, or simply the experience, it’s something you’ll never forget.
This special walk is also about making a difference. We are raising funds for One Woman At A Time, a charity supporting vulnerable young girls in West Pokot, Kenya. Many of these girls are fleeing female genital mutilation and early forced marriage. Through safe refuge, education, and empowerment, the charity helps them build brighter, independent futures.
Every step across the bay helps provide safety, opportunity, and hope for girls who deserve a chance to live freely and pursue their dreams.
Come along, take on this incredible walk, and help change lives while experiencing one of the UK’s most unique coastal adventures.
Starting off in Arnside, opposite the Albion pub our guide will lead our party to the picturesque village of Grange-over-sands through spectacular scenery.
• Walk between 7 and 8 miles
• Takes approximately 3-4 hours
• Departs at 14:30. Registration 13:45
• Suitable for adults, children (aged 8-16 years) & well behaved dogs!
