About

The Mountain Training Lowland Leader Award is a nationally accredited scheme developed and administered by Mountain Training. The award is designed to train and assess those who wish to lead groups of all ages on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions.

Having previously completed your training and following consolidation tasks you assessor will look at your skills across the syllabus against the criteria set out by Mountain Training in an relaxed and supporting atmosphere we aim for all candidates to leave there assessment not only with new qualification but also with feedback, advice on next steps, and enthused to begin putting their skills into practice.
