This exhibition will explore the themes of community ownership and REcommoning in the context of land and services in North Lancashire.What might be possible if the residents of North Lancashire collectively owned more of the services and assets that matter?
Focusing on the journey of Summerhouse Community Farm, purchased for the community in February 2025, the exhibition will include the history of the site, the outcomes of a REcommoning think tank and plenty of opportunities to feed back on the design.
You can also grab a copy of the new Little Book of Food, which explores a wide range of topics linked to sustainable food: From local seasonal food growing and how to get involved, to some of the bigger issues about how our food is produced, where it comes from and how we can reduce food waste.
It’s got recipes, ideas and lots of useful links.
