Share the Harvest Picnic
About
Every autumn, Share the Harvest invites people across North Lancashire to save seasonal fruit from going to waste.During Spring into Action, we’ll meet up at Claver Hill for a nature walk with Ros Jones of Wildlife Wellbeing Walks, and a tour of the community farm and orchard with Moyna Hargest.
We’ll learn more about the apple varieties growing there, and then enjoy a shared picnic together.
Join this picnic if you’re interested in finding out more, getting involved in Share the Harvest in 2026, or just having a fun day out with a great bunch of people and making new friends.
You can join only for the walk at 1pm if you prefer.
Please bring some food to share for the picnic (but if you're unable to bring anything, please don't let that stop you from coming.)
All are welcome. If required, the tour can be wheelchair accessible.
Claver Hill is at Ridge Lane, LA1 3JY, Lancaster. We'll meet at the car park shelter for a 1pm start. Click here for directions:
