About

Uggle Lane is a brand new green space in Scotforth.
It has an interesting history, but also a very bright future, having benefitted from improvements to the path, the planting and to the use of the area for composting and growing.

Janet Swan and Nita Burrows are two artists who have seen these changes for themselves and who want to share information about the site in a new way.
Anyone who walks down the lane will ultimately be able to listen to a short podcast, but for this event you are invited to come and listen.

All welcome to try out some parabolic listening devices to hear what lives in the wood.
Or try out some hydrophonic microphones to listen to trees doing their thing or hear what is living in the compost bins!
Your ears might be your new friend when it comes to connecting to nature!
