Hosted by FoodFutures and Sewing Cafe Lancaster, this Spring Into Action book club special will discuss ‘Is a river alive?’ by Robert Macfarlane, following water being identified as a key focus area during FoodFutures Golden Gathering in February 2026.This event is part of a regular bookclub that meets on the last Tuesday of each month to discuss social and environmental issues that concern us all.
Using a book, podcast or any other visual content as a starting point, a group gathers together to learn from each other and draw ways forward in a friendly environment.
