Join us for our annual visit to Chichester Festival Theatre on Tuesday, 23rd July to see a performance of MY FAIR LADY at 2.30Lerner and Loewe’s glorious, evergreen musical is being performed at Chichester for the first time. Songs such as The Rain in Spain, I Could Have Danced All Night, Wouldn’t It Be Loverly, and many more, along with sparkling dialogue, a witty story, and gorgeous costumes, make for a perfect musical.
Cockney Eliza Doolittle earns a living selling flowers on the streets of London. Unless she can speak ‘proper English’ her dream of being a lady in a florist’s shop is out of reach. So when she encounters Henry Higgins, a Professor of Phonetics, she seizes the chance to transform her life!
Higgins blithely takes on a bet to turn this 'squashed cabbage leaf' into a high society paragon. His impulsive wager becomes a journey of discovery for both him and Eliza!
