Join us for a fun-filled Children's Sewing Workshop at The Cowshed (suitable for children aged 8 years and above). The workshops will provide children with a hands-on experience in the art of sewing in a supportive and friendly environment. Our expert instructors will guide them through various sewing techniques, ensuring they have a fantastic time while learning and working on lots of different projects. Our spacious and well-equipped venue offers a safe and enjoyable environment for children to explore their creativity.

Projects still to be confirmed

Beginners Class
This is for someone who is new to sewing or has very little experience. In this class, children will learn the basics such as how to safely use a sewing machine, thread a needle, sew simple stitches, follow basic patterns, and create small beginner-friendly projects. No previous sewing experience is required.

Next Steps Sewers
These classes are for those who already understand the basics of sewing and can use a sewing machine with some confidence. Children at this level should be comfortable threading a machine, sewing straight seams, and following simple patterns with some guidance. In this class, students will continue to develop their skills by working on slightly more detailed projects, learning new techniques, and building confidence in sewing more independently.

Advanced Class
This is for someone who already has sewing experience and feels confident using a sewing machine independently. Children in this level should be comfortable with basic stitches, following patterns, and completing simple projects. Advanced classes focus on building skills further, including more detailed projects, new techniques, and improving sewing accuracy and creativity.

Time: 10am till 4pm
