About
This is a unique opportunity to connect more deeply with the natural beauty surrounding of the Findhorn Hinterland.Guided by their close relationship with the land and extensive ecological knowledge, Alan Watson Featherstone and Heather Paul will introduce you to the rich diversity of life in the Findhorn Hinterland. From plants and lichens to insects and other fascinating species, you will explore the intricate relationships that weave them together as part of the wider web of life. This year, the experience is offered as two half-day Walk & Talk sessions:
11 July, 10am–1pm: Alan Watson Featherstone will lead a walk with a broad focus on biodiversity, sharing insights into the ecosystems and natural processes that shape this landscape.
2 August, 2–5pm: Heather Paul will guide participants through different areas of the Hinterland with a special focus on lichens.
Each session offers a chance to slow down, observe, and deepen your understanding of the living landscape around Findhorn.
