CEO Support Forum: Leader Wellbeing
About
In the demanding role of a charity CEO, being a leader can often feel isolating with little space to reflect or recharge. Our CEO Support Forum series offers a confidential, 1.5-hour, online gathering where small groups of CEOs come together to share challenges, insights, and mutual encouragement. These sessions are built on the understanding that when you face pressure in leadership, peer support can often be the most powerful remedy.
Each session will focus on a relevant current theme and invites CEOs to explore together how the context impacts their organisation and their own leadership. These sessions are ideal for leaders who want a safe and structured space to be candid about current issues and to support, and be supported by, their peers.
This session will focus on leader wellbeing and the pressures that come with holding the weight of organisational leadership. Charity CEOs are often expected to support the wellbeing of their teams, shape healthy organisational cultures, and guide their organisations through uncertainty, while also managing their own resilience and capacity.
Together, we will explore how CEOs themselves are carrying the load. The conversation will invite honest reflection on the expectations placed on leaders, the boundaries they set, and the practices that help sustain both personal wellbeing and healthy organisational cultures.
Participants will have the opportunity to reflect together on how the current context is shaping their leadership, to share experiences, and to learn from peers who understand the unique pressures of the role.
If you have a particular topic or theme you would like to add to the agenda, then please do get in touch in advance of the event.
This event is only open to Full Charity Leadership Scotland Members.
