About
Please join us for Open Farm Sunday at the Benham Estate on 7th June 2026.Entry is via pre-booked tickets which are free of charge. Please book onto the 10.00am, 11.00am or 12.00pm arrival slots so that we have an idea of numbers in advance, and we can allocate car parking safely and efficiently on the day.
We are open until 3pm, so please feel free to make it a full and fun day out for all the family.
The event will be based at our main farmyard, and will feature:
Tractor and trailer rides (with optional self-guided walk through our beautiful water meadows)
Local food and drink stalls (including eggs from our organic, free-range hens, and beef and lamb from our herd of cattle and flock of sheep).
Working machinery displays
Sheep shearing demonstrations
Meet the animals - cattle, sheep, chickens, horses and more...
Educational talks on the River Kennet, arable crops and conservation on the Estate
Learn about the Benham Estate - our history, what we produce and our future plans
Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead, and unfortunately they will not be able to join us on the tractor and trailer rides.
