No Fear CPR/AED Training - Whitewell Bottom Community Centre
About
Join us for our No Fear CPR and AED Training, delivered by the Rossendale Community First Responders (RCFR) in association with Community Defibs for Rossendale (CDfR).This informative and hands-on two-hour (approximately) session is designed to give you the confidence and skills to act in a life-threatening emergency. You’ll learn how to recognise the signs of a cardiac arrest, ensure your own safety when responding, and understand what happens when you call 999 for help.
Our experienced responders will guide you through the primary survey, demonstrate how to perform effective CPR, and show you how to safely and confidently use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The session is practical, supportive, and suitable for complete beginners—no prior experience is needed.
We’ll also share more about the work of Community Defibs for Rossendale, including how the group supports the local community by installing and maintaining public access defibrillators (CPADs) across the Rossendale Valley.
By the end of the session, you’ll feel more prepared, informed, and empowered to step in and potentially save a life.
