Keen to find your bid-writing mojo? Need some help to refine your bid-writing skills?Join Kate Parry and Chris Bridgman, from the CACN team, for a 2.5 hr workshop designed to grow your bid writing confidence. We'll walk you through a simple step by step approach to developing stronger funding bids, demystifying the process and language as we go.
In the second half of the session, we'll tackle your specific challenges and questions. Let us know what they are when you sign up, and come ready to share your bid-writing challenges and queries with the group.
Who’s it for?
Anyone who needs to apply for grant funding from Arts Council England, trusts and funds or local authorities – and could do with building their skills and confidence in doing this.
Who are the trainers?
Kate Parry: currently Director of CACN, Kate has worked across the arts, culture and heritage sectors for 30 years, managing historic houses, arts centres and a partnership of museums. She has significant experience in bid writing, having successfully secured many millions in funding from trusts, foundations and national funders over the years. Her specialism is in developing and leading collaborative projects across Cumbria, but she also supports individual artists and community groups to make their ambitions a reality.
Chris Bridgman: currently Development Producer with CACN, Chris has over 30 years’ experience of successfully bidding for funding: project grants for small-scale theatre productions, Arts Council core funding support (National Portfolio), National Lottery Heritage funds, local authority funding streams, ‘and grants from a wide range of trusts and funds.
