What Are You Actually Building?
About
Most artists are so caught up in the day-to-day that the bigger question never gets asked: What am I actually building? And why?Without an answer, every decision feels equally urgent. Every opportunity looks like it might be the right one. Every year ends more or less where the last one started.
This session exists to change that.
Half a day. One clear outcome: a vision for your practice - specific, honest, yours - and a one-page plan that captures everything that matters.
What this session does
We start where all good planning starts - with YOU.
Using a simple framework, you'll move through five questions that build your vision from the ground up - fromwhere you are now, to what your first three concrete steps look like.
From that foundation everything else becomes clear. What structure actually serves your vision? As a sole trader, CIC, charity…something else? What your income streams are and where the gaps are. What a sustainable practice looks like for your specific situation.
What you leave with - your practice on a page. One side of A4. Everything that matters, ready to use. A vision - specific and felt, built in the session. A clear picture of your income streams, current and potential. An understanding of which legal structure suits where you're going. A one-page plan with your next three steps, achievable in the next 90 days.
Who is this for?
Artists and creatives who are ready to think seriously about what they're building and want a structured half-day to do it.
Whether you're just starting out; mid-career and feeling stuck; or established and wanting to move in a new direction - the framework works for any stage of practice.
