Come and enjoy Sherborne Boys School garden, and enjoy an afternoon tea.The School Courts feature several different gardens, all of which boast unique views of Sherborne Abbey, manicured lawns and herbaceous boarders which are maintained by the School’s attentive Gardening Team. Against the stunning backdrop of the Abbey, the Beckett Lawns feature a bronze bust of Alan Turing that was unveiled in 2021, to honour one of the School’s most famous former pupils. The Fifth Form Garden is tucked away in a discreet corner of the Courts, offering a tranquil space with manicured lawns bordered by lavender and butterfly-friendly wildflower plants and shrubs. During term time these gardens are used predominantly by the boys and staff, but a busy programme of events allows families of the boys, alumni of the School and members of the public to enjoy the spaces too.
