What if the bravest hero in World War II... was a cat?
Set in a sleepy seaside village in Devon during the final years of World War II, 946: The Amazing Story of Adolphus Tips tells the heartwarming and thrilling story of 12-year-old Lily Tregenza and her beloved cat, Tips. When American soldiers arrive to prepare for a massive invasion, Lily’s world is turned upside down—especially when Tips goes missing in the middle of a military evacuation.
Based on the book by celebrated author Michael Morpurgo and adapted for the stage by the brilliant Emma Rice, this imaginative play blends live music, puppetry, and storytelling to bring history to life in a way that’s funny, moving, and full of heart.
