Spring Wild Food and Herbal Medicine Foraging Walk

This is a guided foraging walk exploring wild foods and herbal medicine to boost your health as we move through spring.Foraging for wild food and medicine offers a wealth of opportunities to reconnect with nature.
On this walk along the River Lune you will learn to identify plants, about their properties, some historical uses and folklore, plus how to prepare and use these plants as food and medicine.
This is event lasting approximately 2.5 hours.
During the walk, we are likely to cover less than 5 miles.
There may be some uneven terrain and slippery surfaces.
Please wear suitable footwear and come prepared to walk whatever the weather, including full sun or heavy rain.
Suitable for beginners and those with some foraging experience.

This workshop will be led by Julia Russell, local herbalist and member of the Association of Master Herbalists, who has 25 years experience of leading foraging walks.
