Forage & Thrive - Spring Wild Food & Wild Medicine Workshop
About
This Forage & Thrive full day workshop will combine a guided foraging walk and a hands-on workshop exploring seasonal wild foods and herbal medicine to boost your health in the springtime.Foraging for wild food and medicine offers a wealth of opportunities to reconnect with nature.
Whilst outside, you will learn to identify plants, about their properties, some historical uses and folklore, and we will forage together.
Once back indoors we will make and share a wild food lunch together. You will learn how to prepare your own foraged food, drinks and medicine, and take home some foraged goodies too.
This is a small group, "slow" event lasting approx. 6 hours.
During the walk, we are likely to cover no more than 5 miles.
There may be some uneven terrain and slippery surfaces and we will walk at a reasonable pace.
Please wear suitable footwear and come prepared to walk whatever the weather, including full sun or heavy rain.
Suitable for beginners and those with some foraging experience.
This full day workshop is £70.00.
There are 2 concessionary places available.
