In 2025 a beyond food banks discussion came up with the idea of a food circle - bringing together a food club, allotment and/or growing space, chefs and a community kitchen, composters and volunteers to create a healthy, resilient and fair local food system.Stanleys Community Centre in Morecambe have started turning this idea into a reality. This skill share event will share their approach and learnings so far and will offer the opportunity to see their growing space and food club in action.
It will begin with a shared lunch. Please bring some veggie or vegan food to share.
