Stephen Fielding from Habitats & Heritage will be giving a talk about restoring and looking after historic structures in South-West London. This will include delving into the story behind the neo-Egyptian Kilmorey Mausoleum in St. Margarets, the restoration of Sir Richard Burton's tent shaped tomb in Mortlake, the underpinning of the Grove Gardens Chapel near Richmond Park, and the restoration of Sir Joseph Bazalgette's mausoleum in Wimbledon.The talk will also cover Habitats & Heritage’s past and future involvement in Kingston including activities relating to the Hogsmill River and sewage works and delving into the history of the Kingston Power Station.
