About
Our A‑Level Geography students are invited to participate in a residential field trip to the Lake District next term.This two‑night visit, staying at the Keswick YHA, has been designed to support both the human and physical geography components of the A‑Level course. It will also provide an opportunity for some students to gather data for their individual fieldwork investigations.
During the trip, students will explore locations such as Cockermouth, Grasmere, Buttermere, Crummock Water and Derwentwater, close to the renowned Honister Pass and Borrowdale. The spectacular scenery of this largely unspoilt region offers a unique chance to experience first‑hand one of the UK’s most impressive National Parks, with its striking relict glacial landscapes.
