About

From legendary director David Lean, The Bridge on the River Kwai is an epic war drama set during World War II. When British prisoners of war are forced to build a railway bridge for their Japanese captors, a battle of wills unfolds between duty, pride, and survival. Sweeping, suspenseful, and richly character-driven, this Oscar-winning classic is widely regarded as one of the greatest war films ever made.
