About

The Ramblers are a well-known and active charity that encourage people of all ages and abilities to get outside and enjoy the countryside. The Lancaster group is very active with a wide range of available walks.

This taster session is a 3-hour circular walk of Lancaster starting in Aldcliffe, going via Freeman's Wood and along the river and canal back to the starting point. At around 6 miles long, this is a manageable distance for anyone with a reasonable level of mobility and fitness. There will be a stop for coffee and snacks, so please bring along provisions.

For more information about the walk and contact details for the walk leaders, please follow the link to the Ramblers' page below.
