Wild Roots: Nature Folklore & Storey-telling
About
Humans have always lived in connection with nature and traditionally this has informed our cultures, beliefs and stories. In this 2-hour session Eleanor Levin and Ros Jones will share traditional nature stories and invite participants to share theirs. This aim of this gathering is to provide an uplifting way to regain lost stories, helping us to strengthen our connection to the natural world.
Eleanor Levin is a musician and storyteller. She leads tours for the Lancaster Museums, Litfest and schools across the north. She is a Forest School leader and has a special interest in trees.
Ros Jones is the founder of Wildlife Wellbeing Walks and co-founder and director of Wild Roots Nature Fest. Ros is a botanist and birdwatcher and loves reconnecting with her wild roots, with others, through walks, poetry and art.
