Outline of the day
10am: Meet at Aira Force National Trust car park
Introduction to the route and conditions.
10.15am – 3pm: Walk through Aira force temperate rain forest and learn about this rare habitat, walk to the summit of Gowbarrow Fell (one of the 214 Wainwrights) and admire the view of Ullswater, the second largest lake of the Lake District.
3pm: Debrief and then head home
