The Constructing Excellence G4C Regional Awards are back for 2026!

Professionals, Apprentices, Students, Mentors and companies supporting young talent. We are inviting you to our annual awards event. The G4C (Generation 4 Change) Awards recognise individuals and organisations who made significant contributions to the field of the built environment.

These awards are a celebration of the achievements of the next generation in the North West region and the companies who support and train the future leaders of the industry. The G4C North West awards will be held on 4th of June 2026 and will showcase excellence and reward achievement for organisations and individuals who are successfully pushing our industry forward.

This event is a perfect opportunity for those in their early career stages to ease into networking by entering a supportive environment and being surrounded by individuals who are in a similar career stage. This can be your first step to building your own network in the industry.

This year's awards at the Manchester 235 Casino situated in the iconic Great Northern Warehouse on Watson Street. Get ready for a night of glamour and celebration!

IMPORTANT NOTICE

As Manchester235 is a licensed casino and is strictly an over-18s venue. Anyone under 18 years of age will not be permitted entry. All attendees must bring a valid photo ID as proof of identity for entry. Our event will take place in a private space away from the gaming areas. However, guests are welcome to explore the casino facilities after the awards at their own discretion and risk.

18:00 - 19:00 - Registration and welcome drink on arrival. Canapés will be served from 6:30pm to 7:30pm

19:00 - 21:00 - Award Ceremony, Break & Free Prize Draw

21:00 - 22:00 - Photo opportunity and networking

Who should I bring with me? 

Each organisation is encouraged to bring at least one mentor accompanying the nominee. This is to encourage mentors to celebrate your achievements. You are welcome to bring company colleagues or individuals with you to the event as long as they hold a valid ticket. 

What should I wear? 

This is a black tie event (red & black theme). The venue does not permit tracksuit bottoms, football shirts, sports shorts, hoods or work clothes. We also kindly ask that all coats are left in our cloakroom at reception.

Can I come on my own?

Of course! If you'd like to attend solo you're more than welcome to. Our G4C team will introduce you to a few friendly faces to ease any nerves that may come with it. The event is a fantactic opportunity to broaden your horizons and meet new people. 

Can I still attend the event if I haven't been nominated/ shortlisted? 

Yes! The event is open to all ticket holders that would like to attend. You can get a lot out of this event even if it is not a physical award. This year we are also giving away a surprise award that anyone has a chance to win! It may be you! 

Can I bring a bag with me?

Please note that bags may be checked on entry to the venue. Anything larger than a handbag e.g laptop bags or rucksacks will be asked to be left on reception. Kindly note that we do not hold luggage in the venue cloakroom, and it is not permitted into the venue. Management reserve the right to accept or refuse bags into the venue or cloak room.

Do you offer student discounts?
