Wild Roots: Clay at Claver
About
During this workshop we will take inspiration from the environment around us at Claver Hill and make a small pot or sculpture to take home. We will decorate the surface with natural elements and imprint with found objects and plants. All materials provided.
Kath McDonald from King Street Arts has worked with clay for 30 years, runs workshops & projects with people of all ages & enjoys the elemental feel of clay & variety of forms it can make.
Accessibility:
- Claver Hill has accessible paths through the main part of the site, but not the entirety.
- If you use a wheelchair or mobility scooter please let us know on the booking form so that we can provide additional information, if needed.
What to wear:
- Weather-appropriate clothes, which may include a waterproof coat or a sun hat
What to bring along:
- A bottle of water to ensure you stay hydrated
Parking and Meeting Point:
- The what3words location for the meeting point is ///overpaid.plums.everyone
- There is very little public parking at Claver Hill so please come on foot, bicyle or public transport.
- The number 10 bus runs hourly from town, with the first bus on Sunday arriving at Ridge Shops at 10.40am. It is about a 10 minute walk from there to Claver Hill.
