Wild Roots: Midweek Reset – Mothers and women caregivers
About
This session is for mothers and women in caring roles to take an hour for themselves in nature.
It won’t take away all the plates you’re spinning but you can put them down for a short while.
Looking after ourselves is often at the bottom of our to do list, something we know we should do, but find it hard to prioritise.
This session will help you to reset your nervous system, feel calmer and more ready to cope with life’s everyday challenges.
Being outside is proven to improve our wellbeing, and Lynne will guide you through other evidence based activities such as guided journaling, meditations and time to just be.
This session is led by Lynne Davies-Craine local wellbeing life coach, with self compassion at the heart of her work, making changes from a place of care for ourselves rather than inner criticism. Especially working with mothers and care givers to resource and nourish themselves, so they can have positive ripples through their life, without burning themselves out.
Meeting Point:
- The what3words location is ///supporter.sting.fingernails (where Long Marsh Lane, West Road and Castle Park meet).
- Please arrive before 7.15pm so we have enough time to walk to Quay Meadow
- If you are running late, please phone the event organiser so we can give you directions.

- The route we are taking is mostly accessible for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. If you would like to be able to park closer to Quay Meadow, please contact the event organisers so we can arrange for one of us to meet you behind The George & Dragon.
