This six-week sewing course is ideal for those with no or little experience of sewing and aimed at those who want to build their skills and confidence. Sessions take place every Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for six weeks.
The use of our sewing machines, along with fabric and thread from our donated collection, is included.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a list of any extra supplies needed for each project. This will help you decide whether to use free donated fabric from The Cowshed or buy your own. The list will also show which additional items you may need to purchase, such as wadding, binding, or zips, as these are not always available from The Cowshed.
In this six week period you will be making coasters, an envelope cushion with applique design, a reversible bucket hat, a tissue holder and a lined tote bag.
Please Note: Our sewing classes are designed with adults in mind. We do welcome 16- and 17-year-olds accompanied by an adult.
