• Audience: This day will be focused on the London West Music Hub’s continuing work around Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) inclusive practise for all School Music Subject Leaders.
• Purpose: It is intended to provide ideas and inspiration for supporting evolving curriculums to engage our SEND students in all schools; and for networking to happen across schools/LAs. The day is curated by the LWMH staff, the RAH Engage team, and LWMH Lead Music School Teachers.
• Outcomes:
  • To develop an understanding of using inclusive SEND strategies in all classrooms and settings
  • To provide opportunities and applied knowledge that supports school teachers in meeting SEND Learner’s Needs.
  • To build and evolve the network of school music teachers to be effective and useful; with equal focus on experienced/confident teachers and early career teachers
