🎬✨ Stop Frame Drawing Animation Workshop with Youth Landscapers Collective ✨🎬Looking for something creative for older children and teens? Join us for a relaxed, hands-on animation session led by the Youth Landscapers Collective (YLC)!
🌿 About YLC
YLC is a youth-led creative group based in the National Forest (around Moira, Leicestershire), bringing together young people aged around 12–22 who are passionate about art, storytelling, and the environment.
They work collaboratively with artists and creatives to produce original projects — from films and music videos to exhibitions, performances, and visual storytelling — all inspired by the world around them.
This workshop is a great chance to experience their creative, collaborative approach first-hand.
🎨 What to expect
This isn’t your typical animation workshop…
Together, we’ll create one large, collaborative stop frame drawing animation — no objects, just imagination, pens, and creativity flowing across a shared artwork.
Young people will:
• Learn how stop frame drawing animation works
• Contribute to one big evolving artwork
• Experiment with their own style and ideas
• Work at a pace that suits them — guided but flexible
• Be part of a shared creative process
🎥 We’ll also be sharing music videos created by YLC young people, giving a real feel for what’s possible.
💡 Suitable for older children & young people (approx. 12+) — flexible depending on interest.
