Join us for bagels, coffee, cake and a taste of Jewish cultural events and shows at the Edinburgh Festivals!

As well as regulars Daniel Cainer and Rachel Creeger, Festival Open Day 2026 will feature a spectacular array of artists including Jess Robinson (Dead Ringers, The Last Leg) re-imagining Elton John’s greatest hits, Nick Cassenbaum talking to our own David Neville about performing his international mega-hit Bubble Schmeisis in an actual sauna, Max Olesker (‘Britain’s answer to David Sedaris' Andrew O’Hagan) performing an extract from his hilarious, heartbreaking true story about not being Jewish enough, to say nothing of music and song from Couplet, Melanie Gall and more. Oh yes, who remembers Dr Ruth Westheimer.....?
