Charity Jazz Concert for the G&S Young Musicians Trust 2026

Following the success of last year's event, we are delighted to offer you another evening of smooth summer jazz that blends the talent of young stars with the experience of seasoned professionals!The house-band for the evening of will feature three exceptional local musicians — Martin Pickett on keyboard, Pete Howard on bass, and Jon Buxton on drums.
Adding more than a touch of elegance and sophisitication, the wonderful Anna Shackleton (https://annashackleton.co.uk/) will lend her captivating vocals to the evening and she will be joined by the accomplished tenor saxophone playing of Theo Warren, well-known to so many of us in the two villages and now studying jazz at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. As per last year's event, there will be various guest appearances during the evening from the next generation of talented youngsters.
And as if that weren’t enough, the Trust Bar will also be in action with a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks along with their now legendary "Emergency Snacks"....
All proceeds from the evening will go towards supporting the Goring and Streatley Young Musicians Trust (www.goringandstreatleyymt.co.uk)
