This May, Epsom College proudly presents 'A Monster Calls' based on the novel by Patrick Ness and inspired by an original idea by Siobhan Dowd, devised by Sally Cookson, Adam Peck and the Company.‘A Monster Calls’ is a powerful and imaginative ensemble piece of theatre that combines truthful characters and relationships with physical storytelling. Our company of L4s and M4s tells the story of Conor, a 13-year-old boy, and a yew tree that comes to life demanding the truth. The cast and technical/creative team have developed a retelling of this deeply moving narrative with maturity and respect and now invite audiences to join them on a journey of love, loss and hope.
Prior to each performance, refreshments will be served on the front lawn from 6.15pm.
