Webinar - 'Moving and Doing' for parents and carers
About
Worcestershire Health & Care NHS Trust - Paediatric Occupational Therapy webinars‘Moving and Doing’ is a webinar for parents and carers of school aged children who have difficulties with coordination, balance, or movement skills.
The session helps you understand how movement and coordination skills develop over time and how these skills support everyday activities. You will learn practical ways to support your child with everyday skills such as dressing, using cutlery, riding a bike, writing, school activities, and play. The webinar also provides guidance on what to do if you are worried that your child may have coordination difficulties, sometimes referred to as dyspraxia.
This webinar is aimed at parents and carers of school aged children who struggle with movement, coordination, or physical skills that affect school, play, or daily life. Please note that this session is probably not suitable for children with a significant developmental delay.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about issues that are relevant to you and your child.
The content is the same in each webinar, so you only need to book onto one session. The slides will be shared with you after you have attended.
The webinars are delivered using Microsoft Teams.
If you have any difficulties joining, please call us on 01562 514520.
Please note: This webinar is open only to families who are registered with a Worcestershire GP or who have a child attending a school within Worcestershire. If you book onto this webinar and do not meet this eligibility criteria, your booking will unfortunately be cancelled.
