Are you a farmer or land manger interested in planting trees on your land? Join us for a farm walk at Noxon farm where you'll have the opportunity to learn about the funding and support available for trees followed by a tour of some recently planted sites.

• The benefits of trees on farm, tree species selection and establishment techniques
• An overview of funding opportunities available
• A guided farm walk covering recent tree planting projects on Noxon Farm and Clearwell Estate
• Questions and one‑to‑one conversations with our organisation’s speakers, tailored to your land and plans
The day is practical, accessible and grounded in real experience, supporting anyone considering tree planting as part of a more resilient future for their land.

Meet the Organisations & Speakers
Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust (GWT) – Will Masefield
Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust works to preserve, restore and reconnect the county’s wild places.
Will, Severn Treescapes Project Manager, supports landholders across Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire to integrate trees into working landscapes in ways that benefit wildlife and strengthen farm resilience.
Woodland Trust – Jeremy Evans
The Woodland Trust helps landowners plant and manage trees through free advice, funding support and programmes such as MOREWOODS.
Jeremy works with farmers and landowners to design and establish planting, drawing on over a decade of experience to deliver long-term environmental and farm-level benefits.
Noxon Farm – Will Leabeater
Noxon Farm is developing a regenerative, agroforestry-led approach centred on soil health, biodiversity and long-term resilience.
Will is reshaping the farm through tree planting and orchard creation, combining hands-on experience with insight from his work at the Soil Association.
Forestry Commission – Polly Harries
The Forestry Commission supports landowners to create and manage resilient, well-designed woodlands suited to their landscape.
Polly, Land Use Advisor, advises on species selection, site suitability and planning successful woodland creation projects.
Wye Valley National Landscapes – Richie Alford
The Wye Valley National Landscape seeks to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the Wye Valley. The Farming in Protected Landscapes programme offers support for farmers and land managers to carry out projects that support nature recovery, mitigate the impacts of climate change, provide opportunities for people to discover, enjoy and understand the landscape and cultural heritage, or support nature-friendly, sustainable farm businesses.
Savills – Tom Whichurch
Savills advises landowners on land use, rural strategy and environmental projects.
Tom will discuss the woodland creation site adjoining Noxon Farm at the Clearwell Estate, offering insight into its design, delivery and role within the wider landscape.
