In this workshop, we’ll explore what self-determination looks like in babyhood, how babies express their preferences, wishes, and agency, and how we can respond in ways that support their emerging independence. We’ll also consider how moments of self-determination can help us reflect on our environments, routines, and daily rhythms to ensure we are creating spaces that genuinely support babies to make choices and influence their own experiences.
