Join us in the railway arches for another night of Special Rider talks. This time, Babak Ganjei joins Sophie Heawood in conversation to mark the release of On the Bus Without a Phone, Ganjei's meditation on the horror of not having your trusted little brain melter on a long journey. The book also deals with modern life, modern love and the pitfalls of eating a calippo in public.Babak Ganjei is an artist, illustrator, author, podcaster and musician - a modern-day renaissance man best known for his text-based work. This book feels like a natural extension of that practice, stretched into a longer, highly amusing narrative.
Sophie Heawood is the author of The Hungover Games (a firm Special Rider favourite) and has written for just about every magazine and newspaper under the sun.
