Merseyshare Day - It's Time to Celebrate Our County
About
GB Shared invites you to join us for the Merseyshare Soft Launch on the morning of 25 June 2026.
GB Shared is a globally unique, multi‑award‑winning, nationally recognised innovation, powered by businesses like yours. Members pledge to share — connecting regional resources, opening up opportunities, and keeping more business, value and impact within their local economy.
As each UK county comes on board, it connects with the next, creating a national network of local supply chains. With a model designed for real‑world impact, member activity is mapped to a recognised sustainable accreditation — meaning the more organisations share, the more they grow, increase productivity, and naturally reduce their environmental footprint.

An Invitation to the Infrastructure Behind the UK’s Future Economy
The way the UK does business is changing.
Across government, private sector and regions, there is growing pressure to buy locally, work sustainably, increase productivity, and create real social value — without adding cost or complexity for businesses.
The challenge has never been ambition.
It has been infrastructure.
Imagine If…
Imagine if business was easier.
If you could grow locally or nationally without choosing between values and viability.
If access to local talent, suppliers, funding, tenders, training, connections and support lived in one shared ecosystem — accessible in a click.
If collaboration replaced competition, increasing productivity for businesses while strengthening local economies.
If sustainability and social value recognition were built in, not bolted on.
And imagine if being part of that system didn’t just benefit your organisation — but reduced carbon, supported employment, rebuilt local infrastructure, and created business with impact at the same time.
This Is What GB Shared Is Building
GB Shared is a globally unique, research‑led digital infrastructure, connecting the UK county by county — locally, ethically and sustainably — while making it easier for businesses to operate, grow and be future‑ready.
Already operating across 10 counties and backed by Innovate UK, the model:
- connects SMEs into visible, trusted local supply chains
- improves productivity by reducing duplication and friction
- naturally embeds social value and sustainability
- supports businesses to become bid‑ready and procurement‑ready
- provides public sector with a live, local, ethical SME supply base
It is infrastructure designed not just for today — but for the future economy.
Why You’ve Been Invited
Merseyshare is the final piece of the North West jigsaw.
To mark its arrival, we are hosting an invitation‑only soft launch on Merseyside Day — offering early access to a small number of businesses and public‑sector colleagues who want to understand what’s coming before wider roll‑out.
This is not a sales event.
It’s an early‑access briefing.
What to Expect
- relaxed networking and refreshments
- a clear introduction to the GB Shared model
- insight into future supply chains, funding, tenders and sustainability expectations
- practical takeaways you can use immediately
- time to ask questions and reflect
No obligation. No pressure.
The only commitment is to attend, listen, and decide whether sharing is right for your organisation.
About the Founder
GB Shared was founded by an Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award Winner who left a public‑sector role to solve a problem she saw first‑hand:
the lack of infrastructure supporting local, ethical business at scale.
What started as a solution to strengthen one county is now operating across ten — with national growth and international interest emerging.
Places Are Limited
This is a curated, invitation‑only session with limited places to ensure meaningful conversation.
We hope you’ll join us — not just to attend an event, but to explore an infrastructure designed for:
your organisation, your region, your country — and the planet.
We have limited numbers for our Merseyshare launch event, our invitations span the private and public‑sector, charity or community organisations.
Be in the room and become part of Merseyside's supply chain for a more sustainable future.
