in defeating Ottoman forces. This talk explores in-depth the use of airpower by Allenby as a genuinely essential force multiplier, demonstrating the key contributions which airpower made to the capture of Jerusalem in late-1917 and the destruction of Ottoman forces in Palestine in autumn 1918.
