DASH RIC & Safety Planning
About
This two-hour multi-agency online training session brings together two essential tools for anyone working with victims and survivors of domestic abuse. In the first half, you will be introduced to the DASH (Domestic Abuse, Stalking and Honour-Based Violence) Risk Checklist, a nationally recognised tool used to identify and assess risk, determine referral thresholds and ensure a consistent, evidence-based response. In the second half, we move from risk identification to action, exploring how to develop effective, personalised safety plans that reflect the realities victims face at every stage: whilst living with a perpetrator, during the dangerous period of separation, and in the longer term.
This session is suitable for all professionals working with or alongside victims and survivors, regardless of your role or sector.
