Whernside challenge
About
Access the Dales are supporting some amazing young people to reach the summit of Whernside — the highest peak in the Yorkshire Dales. ⛰️💙We’ll be taking the stile-free route from Dent, using three Paratrekers (manual all-terrain wheelchairs). These chairs require teams of at least two people — and sometimes up to four — to help push and pull safely across the terrain.
To make this challenge possible, we’re looking for volunteers who would be willing to join us and support these young people on their journey to the summit.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of something truly inspiring and help create an unforgettable experience.
