We’ve got lots going on this Saturday in preparation for Kendal Pride, and everyone is welcome to get involved!

Batik Banners Workshop
Join this led creative workshop using hot wax and inks to decorate tissue paper, using a resist technique on the theme “This is Home”. The batik panels will be used to create a set of banners for the collage performance at Pride.

• Booking essential (10 -11am, 1 - 2pm, 3-4pm)
• Age 7+ (adults very welcome)
• Please note: this is a contribution to the festival – nothing will be taken home

Hats & Streamers
Get ready for the celebrations with a fun, drop-in creative session! Make your own colourful hat and matching streamer to wave with pride in the Kendal Pride Parade.
We’ll have plenty of fabulous scrap materials so you can create something bold, bright, and uniquely you.

Pride Prep
We’ve still got lots of decorations and set pieces to complete for the festival. Come along and help with gluing, stitching, and assembling everything ready for Pride day!
