Sunday Reset: Beach Yoga and Sauna

This monthly beachside experience is an opportunity to slow down, reconnect, and reset through movement, heat therapy, nature, and community — the perfect way to end your weekend and begin the week ahead feeling grounded, refreshed, and restored.Set on the beach, the evening combines accessible vinyasa yoga with the restorative benefits of the wood-fired sauna at Jurassic Saunas and cold water therapy.
We’ll begin with a gentle welcome circle, giving everyone a chance to arrive, settle into the space, and set intentions for the evening ahead.
From there, we’ll move into a 45–60 minute vinyasa yoga practice suitable for all levels, beginning with grounding breathwork to help settle the nervous system and bring awareness to the body and breath. The class will focus on mindful movement, grounding, and release, with plenty of options and modifications offered throughout so everyone can move in a way that feels supportive for their body.
Following yoga, the group will have exclusive use of the wood-fired beach sauna for one hour. During this time, you are free to move between the sauna, the sea, and the solar-powered outdoor showers at your own pace. The contrast of heat and cold, combined with the calming coastal environment, creates a deeply restorative experience for both body and mind.
We’ll finish the evening with a short closing circle to reflect, unwind, and ease gently into the new week ahead.
Evening Schedule:
5:00pm — Arrival & welcome circle
5:15pm — Breathwork & vinyasa yoga practice (45–60 mins)
6:15pm — Wood-fired sauna & sea dips
7:20pm — Closing circle
7:30pm — Finish
What to bring:
- Swimwear
- Towel x 2 (One to sit on in the sauna, one to dry with)
- Warm layers for afterwards
- Beach/sea shoes if you have them (It's a pebble beach, but we'll be on grass for the yoga session)
- Water bottle
- Changing robe if you have one
- Yoga mat if you prefer to use your own (mats will also be provided if not)
Please note:
- Yoga is open to all experience levels
- Sea dipping is optional
- Changing facilities are minimal - Feel free to wear swimwear under comfy clothes for yoga
- Participants are encouraged to listen to their bodies and take the sauna experience at their own pace
Leave feeling calm, clear-headed, and reset for the week ahead.
Please note, in the event of heavy rain, the yoga session will be cancelled but the sauna session will go ahead. Participants will be notified on the morning of the event if this is the case, and will be refunded half of the cost of the event.
