"Principles Before Personalities," (theme of the 1-Day Convention) reminds us that the strength of Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon lies not in any individual member, but in the spiritual principles that unite us.
Recovery flourishes when humility replaces ego, when service replaces self-seeking, and when our common welfare comes before personal preferences. Regardless of our backgrounds, experiences, or opinions, we are joined by a common purpose and a shared desire to help others.
As we gather together in fellowship, may we remember that our greatest achievements come when we focus not on who is speaking, but on the message being carried; not on personalities, but on principles.
For it is through unity, humility, and service that we continue to preserve and strengthen the Fellowship for generations to come.
